The NEW Lycian 1250KB Followspot is a high efficiency, 1200 Watt, 90 Volt Lamp followspot. Ideal for Hi-Def television, 3250K, no color correction needed. Small enough for theater coves or box boom positions.

Designed for Broadcast-Ready Color and Clean Dimming

With a 3250 deg. K output and a flicker free light engine, this followspot is well-suited for HD capture where visible flicker and color shifts can be distracting. A smooth fader supports subtle intensity changes during live cues without abrupt steps.

Precise Beam Control for Performer Isolation

The 1250KB includes a square shutter to help isolate performers and reduce unwanted beam overlap in tight blocking, plus a nichrome iris for quick, repeatable sizing. A beam angle of 4.3 deg. to 10.3 deg. provides the range to tighten for longer throws or open up for closer positions. For fast color changes, it features a 6-color self-cancelling color boomerang.

Fit, Setup, and Physical Specifications

Designed to work in space-constrained mounting locations such as coves and box booms, the head measures 51 inches long and 21.5 inches high, with a maximum head width (including all controls) of 21 inches. It supports up to 45 deg. downward tilt for common FOH and elevated followspot positions. Head weight is 114 lbs. A sturdy 3-legged folding base is included, with casters for easier repositioning.
