NEW Lightronics RE121L Rack Mount Dimmer

The NEW Lightronics RE121L Rack Mount Dimmer is a 12 channel lighting dimmer rack designed to be controlled from a lighting console in permanent or portable rigs, including church, stage, theater, school, night club, live performance, and other event and artistic applications. With 1,200 watts per channel (14,400 watts total), it provides the capacity needed to run multiple circuits while keeping control centralized in your rack.

Console Control with LMX-128

The RE121L is controlled by a lighting control console and uses the LMX-128 control protocol. This makes it a practical fit for installations and production environments built around LMX-128 workflows, where reliable console-based dimming is required across multiple channels.

Dimmer or Relay Operation by Channel Group

Channels A - F and/or channels G - L may be switched to operate in "relay" mode. In relay mode, channels may be switched only to either to full on or full off depending on fader position. This flexibility is useful when a rig includes loads that should not be dimmed, such as certain non-dimmable fixtures or power supplies, while keeping other circuits on standard dimming.

Electrical Capacity and Protection

Designed for demanding rack environments, the RE121L supports 120/240V operation with 60 Amp capacity. Each channel is protected by 10 Amp fast acting fuses, and optional circuit breakers are available for applications that prefer breaker-based protection.
