NEW Blizzard HotBox RGBA

The NEW Blizzard HotBox RGBA is a compact, portable LED PAR fixture built to deliver high output color wash and punchy effects in tight rigs, mobile setups, and permanent installs. It pairs 7x 10-watt 4-in-1 (RGBA) LEDs with advanced electronics and a rock solid aluminum casing, all in a small footprint (4 x 5 x 5 inches, 7.25 inches tall including the brackets) and a lightweight build at just 3.5 pounds.

High-Output RGBA Color Mixing and Smooth Dimming

The HotBox RGBA puts out a ton of light while giving you precise color control for stage wash, uplighting, and accent effects. You get full RGBA color mixing, variable electronic dimming and strobe, and ultra smooth flicker-free 32-bit dimming with five user-selectable 32-bit dimming curves. A flicker-free constant-current 400hz LED driver helps keep output stable, which is especially useful for video-friendly applications.

Flexible DMX Control for Any Console

With user-selectable 3/4/5/8 or 9 DMX channel modes, the fixture is easy to integrate into almost any lighting controller, including popular 3-channel controllers. You have control over color mixing, built-in color and chase macros via DMX, and 31 built-in programs. The fixture also provides easy HSV color mixing ability in 3-channel mode for fast color selection when channels are limited.

Standalone Operation and Fast Setup

The built-in 4-button LED control panel is designed for quick configuration without a console, letting you access master/slave settings, sound active mode, built-in programs, auto mode, custom color mixing, and user adjustable fade and strobe effects. Dual mounting brackets support flexible positioning, and secure grip locking knobs help keep your aim locked in once the light is focused.

Connectivity and Wireless DMX Ready

Connection is straightforward with industry-standard powerCON compatible AC power input/output and 3-pin DMX (3-pin male input and 3-pin female output). You can also take full advantage of Blizzard’s wiCICLE wireless DMX system without the need for external power thanks to the wiCICLE enabled DMX jacks. An innovative design provides power to the system directly from the fixture’s DMX jack, meaning even fewer cords and less setup time.

The HotBox is rugged and well-built (It hits the gym regularly) and uses a super-quiet variable-speed internal fan for cooling, helping maintain consistent performance while keeping noise down for many live sound and event environments.
