NEW ROBE Universal Interface RUNIT WTX

The NEW ROBE Universal Interface RUNIT WTX is a wireless DMX + RDM enhanced version of the Robe Universal Interface magnifies this powerful multi-functional toolbox. The unit communicates with a PC or Laptop via USB and besides the standard Robe Universal Interface features it provides wireless capabilities for both DMX controlling and bi-directional RDM setup, management and monitoring.

Wireless DMX Control and RDM Management

Designed for lighting programmers, technicians, and rental workflows, the RUNIT WTX helps you connect a computer-based setup to DMX 512 systems while also bringing the RDM communication protocol into DMX 512 control systems. This supports remote fixture addressing, configuration, and status monitoring in RDM-capable environments, without needing to physically access each fixture.

CRMX Wireless Reliability

The wireless communication is based on robust CRMX technology which includes advanced features such are automated cognitive coexistence, DMX fidelity, low latency, strong encryption and more. In practice, this is intended to help maintain stable wireless operation in busy RF environments while keeping DMX timing tight for responsive control.

Connectivity, Updates, and Build

Besides serving as a USB/DMX converter, the unit provides fixture software updates and fixture software updates can now be carried out via wired link. DMX data in/out is handled through a locking 5-pin XLR connection, and the computer connection uses USB 2.0 (series B). A rugged aluminium housing supports touring and production use.
