NEW Arri SkyPanel S30-RP 5600K

The NEW Arri SkyPanel S30-RP 5600K is a compact, soft, high-output LED fixture designed for fast-moving, on-location workflows and tight studio setups where you want a uniform beam field and dependable color quality. As the smallest SkyPanel size, the S30 is built for mobile applications while retaining the system features and flexibility that make the SkyPanel line a standard on professional sets.

SkyPanel Family Sizing and Use Cases

SkyPanel is available in three sizes: the S120, S60 and S30. The S120 is twice as long as the S60, but weighs nearly the same. Its larger light aperture makes a great soft light even better. Retaining the same features and color tunability as its smaller counterparts, the S120 consumes less than 400 watts, yet it is slightly brighter than the S60-C and has an outstanding efficacy of 90 lumens per watt. The S60 is a mid- range model, featuring a light aperture of 645 x 300 mm and accommodating the vast majority of applications. The S30 is a smaller, more portable version; half the length of the S60, it is perfect for on-the-go mobile applications. The S60 and the S30 are available in fully color tunable and remote phosphor versions.

Remote Phosphor Output and Practical Control

Unlike other tunable fixtures, SkyPanel makes no sacrifice when it comes to light output. SkyPanel puts out a tremendous amount of light, in a soft and uniform beam field. Brighter than a 1 kW tungsten soft light or a 3 kW tungsten space light, the SkyPanel S30 has more than enough light for most applications. At the same time, the lamphead is able to perform beautifully at lower light levels. This range of illumination and color gives users an unprecedented amount of control.

The S30-RP uses interchangeable Remote Phosphor panels to quickly shift output for different environments and camera looks, without changing your fixture footprint. With the included 5600K RP Panel, it is well-suited to daylight-balanced key, fill, and bounce work, and for mixing with daylight sources on location.

Power, Rigging, and Connectivity for Set Work

Designed for production reliability and efficient setups, the SkyPanel S30-RP supports 200 W nominal operation and is fully dimmable from 0 - 100% for smooth level matching across shots. It is lightweight and compact with a thin profile, and it includes an external lightweight PSU. For flexible powering, it supports an on-board battery connection (23 - 36V DC).

For control and integration into existing lighting systems, it includes an onboard simple control panel, DMX In and Out with RDM Implementation, plus EtherCon for network connectivity. A USB-A port supports firmware updates. The fixture also provides fan mode selection to better match the needs of quiet sets or higher-output operation.
