3D Effects, Saturated Color, and Smooth Scanning

The Kaptivator is designed to deliver a big visual payoff from a small footprint, with separate red, green, and blue laser modules for richly saturated color mixing. A high-speed 15,000 point per second (15kpss) scanner system helps generate smooth shapes, clean edges, and fast-moving aerial effects. Choose from 120 static patterns and 7 animated patterns to quickly build variety into your looks, from clean tunnels and fan effects to more dynamic motion graphics.

Flexible Control for DJs, Venues, and Installers

Set the fixture to auto-shape mode, auto animation mode, sound active mode, or 11-channel DMX mode using traditional slide-style rear panel dip switches. For music-driven sets, sound active mode uses the onboard microphone, and the microphone sensitivity adjustment knob helps you tailor response to the room, whether you are close to the PA or running at lower SPL.

In DMX mode, the Kaptivator allows full control of mode selection, pattern selection, and color changing effects, plus auto and manual X/Y position adjustments, X/Y dimmer, rotation, zoom, draw, and roll functions. This makes it easy to integrate into DMX512 lighting systems, coordinate with other fixtures, and cue specific looks on demand for drops, intros, and transitions.
