The NEW Green Hippo Hippotizer Amba+ MK2 is a 1RU media server designed for reliable, real-time playback and mapping when you need one high-quality output without the overhead of a multi-output system. With a DisplayPort 1.2 production output and support for up to 8 concurrent 4K layers, it fits neatly into control racks for museums, corporate AV, small-to-mid live events, and fixed installs where tight space and predictable performance matter.
Hippotizer V4+ feature set for mapping, layers, and media workflows
Amba+ MK2 runs the Hippotizer V4 & V4+ platform and includes an integrated media management system to keep content organized and fast to load. FlexRes Codec (built into every Hippotizer V4 & V4+) supports efficient playback workflows, while real-time playback lets operators adjust attributes live during programming and show operation.

For multi-server systems, HippoNet enables control of multiple units from a single ZooKeeper, making it easier to scale a show or installation while keeping a consistent control surface. Connectivity includes dual 1Gb network ports, multiple high-speed USB ports (rear: 4 x USB3, front: 2 x USB 3.1 Type-A), and stereo 1/8” TRS audio I/O. The unit supports LTC over audio input for timecode-based playback workflows.
