NEW ROBE ROBIN LEDBeam 150

The NEW ROBE ROBIN LEDBeam 150 is a compact LED moving-head beam and wash fixture built for stages, events, houses of worship, studios, and touring rigs that need fast movement and a wide range of looks from a small footprint. The LEDBeam 150 features a spectacular zoom range of 3.8° to 60° and uses an eminent custom-designed optical system, now equipped with Robe's innovative lens coating technology which brings benefits such as bright and clear lenses, no scratches or marks, higher light output  and longer intervals between cleaning. A highly optimized motorised control produces speedy pan and tilt movement. Besides intense strobing capabilities, the LEDBeam 150 also offer gentle 18-bit dimming, including Tungsten lamp effects.

Optics and output for tight beams to wide washes

At the heart of the fixture is a 7x 40W RGBW multichip LED engine paired with Robe’s proprietary optical design and a high-efficiency motorized zoom system (15.5:1). In practice, this lets you go from narrow, punchy beams for aerial effects and pixel-like accents to wide, even washes for stage coverage, without changing fixtures. Output is rated at 2,842 lm with a reported 12,200 lx at 5 m, helping the LEDBeam 150 stay present in bright environments and on camera.

Color tools for matching scenes and cameras

Choose RGBW or CMY color mixing to fit your programming style, and fine-tune white light with variable CTO from 2,700K to 8,000K. A Virtual Colour Wheel with 66 preset swatches speeds up repeatable looks across rigs. For warmer, more natural fades, the fixture supports Tungsten lamp effect at whites (2,700K and 3,200K), including red shift and thermal delay.

Smooth fades, punchy effects, and precise control

High-resolution electronic dimming from 0 to 100% is supported, with an internal 18-bit dimming engine for smoother fades at low levels. For dynamic moments, you also get pre-programmed random strobe and pulse effects. Pan/tilt, color mixing, zoom, and dimmer can be run at 8- or 16-bit resolution (depending on mode) for either fast programming or maximum finesse.

DMX and RDM integration

The LEDBeam 150 supports USITT DMX-512 and RDM, with two DMX protocol modes offering 16 or 22 control channels. Addressing and standalone operation are handled via a two-row LCD display with four control buttons, including three editable stand-alone programs (each up to 40 steps), which is useful for simple architectural, retail, or lobby scenes where a console is not always in use.

Compact, lightweight rigging-friendly build

Designed for dense rigs and quick deployments, the fixture measures 337 mm (H) x 244 mm (W) x 149 mm (D) and weighs 5.7 kg (12.6 lbs), making it well suited to truss, bars, and overhead positions where size and weight matter. LED life expectancy is specified at a minimum of 20,000 hours, with typical lumen maintenance of 70% at 20,000 hours for long service intervals.
