The NEW Hive Lighting Wasp 100-C Par Spot Omni-Color LED is a compact, color-adjustable fixture designed for video and photo production, delivering high output while drawing only 100W (with output comparable to a 650W incandescent). Built around Hive’s Perfect S.H.O.T. system, it gives you direct control over Saturation, Hue, Output, and Color Temperature so you can dial in consistent, repeatable looks on set.

Color Control for Real-World Sets

Perfect S.H.O.T. lets you adjust 0 to 100% saturation, sweep through a 360° hue range, dim from 0 to 100%, and set color temperature from 1,650K to 8,000K. In practice, this means you can quickly match ambient sources, create bold color effects without gels, or fine-tune skin tones while keeping the light’s intensity and color where you need them.

Accurate Color Rendering

With a 98 CRI and 97 TLCI, the Wasp 100-C is built for camera-facing work where color fidelity matters, helping reduce time spent correcting color in post and making it easier to intercut with other fixtures on a professional set.

On-Board, DMX, or Smartphone Operation

Adjust settings directly on the head, integrate the light into a DMX-controlled setup, or control it remotely via your smartphone. This flexibility supports everything from small, single-operator shoots to multi-light rigs where quick, centralized adjustments are essential.

Power Options and Compact Form Factor

The Wasp 100-C can run from universal wall power or battery for location work. It accepts 100 to 240 VAC input via the included power supply and supports 12 to 28 VDC input via 4-pin XLR. The fixture’s compact body measures 7.5 in (190mm) long by 4 in (100mm) in diameter, with a 5 in (127mm) reflector face, and it weighs only 5 lb (2.3 kg), making it easy to rig, pack, and reposition throughout the day.
