The AAdynTech JAB Hurricane Cinema is a weatherproof, fan-less LED daylight fixture designed for film and broadcast work where reliability, silent operation, and consistent output matter. Delivering 1,508 fc @ 10 feet at 5600K with high CRI (92+), it is well suited for key, fill, or punchy backlight in studio or exterior setups, including remote productions where power is limited.

High output, efficient power draw

The JAB Hurricane Cinema delivers an impressive 1,508 fc @ 10 feet while consuming only 1.77 amps at full power. Auto-ranging 90 to 240 VAC (50/60Hz) makes it straightforward to run on common mains power, and it can also be operated via 28.8 volt DC battery power. It can run on 48v DC power for hours with a battery source, helping extend runtime on location without a generator.

Outdoor-ready design with silent cooling

The IP65 rating totally protects the Hurricane from dust and water from any direction, supporting dependable use in rain, dust, and challenging environments. Fan-less convection cooling provides silent operation, and the fixture runs cool to the touch with no warm-up wait time on set.

On-camera color and flicker-free performance

With 92+ CRI across the entire brightness range and no UV or IR emissions on talent, the JAB Hurricane Cinema is built for clean, comfortable lighting on people and products. Flicker-free operation up to 12,000 frames per second supports high-speed capture, and precise brightness control with a variable dimming curve helps you fine-tune exposure without color shift.

Optics and control for fast workflow

High optical efficiency provides a single light-source, eliminating multiple shadows, and quick change lenses vary the beam angle between spot, medium and flood while maintaining a flat, even illumination field. Control is available locally onboard and via DMX with loop-thru (5-pin XLR DMX In/Out). A douse button (momentary off) supports quick lighting resets, and the optional UIM Digital Remote (IP65 weatherproof) enables programmable lightning and strobe effects plus multiple user memory storage with recall. The fixture is rated for operation from -20c to +50c and is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and RoHS compliant.
