The NEW AAdynTech JAB Hurricane, Kit 1 is a 5600K, IP65-rated LED fixture designed for high-output, reliable daylight illumination on set, including outdoor and remote productions where weather and limited power are real concerns. Delivering an impressive 2,360 fc @ 10 feet while consuming only 1.77 amps at full power, the Hurricane provides a bright, clean beam with the efficiency needed to run from standard AC power or extended 28.8V DC battery operation.

The IP65 rating totally protects the Hurricane from dust and water from any direction.

High Output, Efficient Daylight for Production

Built to keep talent comfortable and maintain consistent results, the Hurricane produces no UV or IR emissions on talent and generates no heat, so it operates cool to the touch. Its high optical efficiency provides a single light-source, helping eliminate multiple shadows, and quick change lenses vary the beam angle between spot, medium and flood while maintaining a flat, even illumination field.

Silent Cooling and High-Speed Performance

The JAB Hurricane boasts fan-less convection cooling for silent operation and instant ON at all times ensures no warm-up wait time on set. It is also flicker-free up to 12,000 frames per second, supporting high-speed shooting and slow-motion work without distracting artifacts.

Beam Control and Onboard/DMX Operation

Precise brightness control with a variable dimming curve helps you dial in exposure without visible color shift, while the included 5, 15, 30, and 55 degree lenses make it easy to adjust coverage for tighter punches or broader washes as the scene changes. For control workflows, the fixture supports local onboard control and DMX with DMX loop-thru, using 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out. A Douse button (momentary off) is provided for quick, temporary blackout cues.

Built for Rugged Conditions and Compliance

Designed for demanding environments, the Hurricane operates across an auto range voltage of 90/240 VAC at 50/60Hz and is rated for temperatures from -20c to +50c. It is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE and RoHS compliant. Effects and expanded functionality are available via UIM, including programmable multiple lightning and strobe effects (witih UIM) and multiple user memory storage with recall (with UIM).
