MEGA-LITE presents the Spotbot LED CYM 300, a versatile LED moving head spot fixture built for bright, even projection in concerts, events, and theatre. Its 300W LED engine delivers a powerful output, while the 7° to 31° zoom helps you move from tight aerial beams to wider projections without changing fixtures.

Optics, Zoom, and Projection Effects

Designed to create dynamic looks on stage and across architectural surfaces, the Spotbot’s zoom works hand-in-hand with electronic focus to keep patterns sharp across different throws. When combined with the 8-facet rotating prism, gobos gain extra movement and depth, turning simple shapes into energetic mid-air effects.

Gobos and Creative Pattern Control

It has multiple glass gobos that provide high-level projected imagery and can generate complex looks. The 10 fixed and 7 rotating gobos allow you to morph between them using the focus and zoom, giving you a wider range of texture and motion for builds, transitions, and featured moments.

CYM Color Mixing and Added Color Options

Separating it from entry level units is its different colors. The smooth CYM color mixing allows for multiple color combinations, from subtle pastels to saturated stage color. It also offers a unique set of added colors that reside on the back end of the CYM color flags, enabling more varied color sequences without relying on external color correction.

Frost for Wash-Style Looks

For broader, softer coverage, the Spotbot also features a frost filter for a colorful, smooth soft-edged wash. The one independent frost effect enables an effortless switch to an even wash, making it ideal for theatre usage and situations where you want to reduce hard edges while keeping color consistency.

Control, Power, and Rigging Details

The Spotbot LED CYM 300 runs on DMX 512 and includes both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR in/out connections for flexible integration into existing lighting systems. It supports electronic auto-switching power (90V to 240V, 50/60Hz) with PowerCON-style in/out connections, and uses two quick release clamp mounts for straightforward hanging and positioning. Pan and tilt (540° pan, 270° tilt) with 8/16-bit control help deliver smooth movement for professional programming.
