NEW Scenex Lighting LED Driver Box, 16 Output

NEW Scenex Lighting LED Driver Box, 16 Output is a network-based pixel controller and power distribution solution for LED tape and pixel strings, using industry standard sACN E1.31 and Art-Net to integrate into DMX-over-Ethernet lighting systems. Each output is configurable, including the ability for an individual port to control multiple DMX universes, making it well-suited for architectural accents, stage scenic lighting, holiday installations, and other multi-string pixel projects.

Network Control and Per-Port Configuration

For control, an intuitive web server is built in for easy setup of the pixel type, universe and DMX address for each individual port. Advanced configuration options included RGB color order, string length, pixel grouping, pixel type, reversed and zig-zag strings, ‘null’ pixels, DMX addressing range, universe spanning, gamma correction, and more. A temporary IP address override is also provided to help restore access to the built-in web server when network settings need to be recovered.

Power, Protection, and Clean Wiring

Simplified wiring helps reduce setup time because each output supplies data and power to pixels over a single cable. Outputs are individually fused to protect against the possibility of damage to the main driver, and power injection ports are standard to accommodate extended lengths of LED tape. Power and Ethernet present indicators provide quick at-a-glance confirmation of system status.

Capacity and Test Tools for Installation

The PP16 supports control of multiple pixel strings simultaneously, and any output can drive any number of pixels over multiple universes, up to the full capacity of the driver. Control of up to 2,040 individual pixels is supported using Unicast E1.31 or Art-Net, and up to 1,190 pixels using Multicast E1.31. Universe assignment is supported up to 12 universes, and built-in test patterns help verify pixel wiring and layout without needing a console or playback source.
