Built around a pure white LED engine (6000 K CCT), the MAC Encore Wash CLD maintains stable color through zoom and dimming, helping keep skin tones and scenic whites consistent across looks. Flicker-free operation (with an LED driver frequency suitable for camera applications) makes it a dependable choice for filmed events and studio environments.

Color Control and Beam Shaping

For creative looks beyond daylight, vibrant CMY color mixing supports everything from rich, saturated primaries to smooth pastels. Variable CTO allows daylight-to-tungsten control while staying true to the black body curve, and the 6-position interchangeable dichroic color wheel adds quick-access filter options.

A Fresnel lens with a 1:4 zoom delivers a soft, familiar field with precise, fast, and silent electronic zoom. An internal barndoor system includes two shutter blades plus iris, with blades that can overlap for full blackout and a rotating system (+/- 100°) designed to repeat cues with precision. The tight iris supports adjustable dynamic effects, and the Animotion FX System provides internal dimming effect macros for 3D mid-air and projection-style effects.

Quiet Operation and Precise Movement

The fixture is engineered for low-noise environments, combining convection and forced-air cooling with user-selectable output versus sound level control. Fully electronic dimmer and shutter control includes multiple dimming curves and tungsten red-shift emulation for smoother fades on stage.
