NEW GLP Impression FR1

NEW GLP Impression FR1 is a compact RGBW LED moving head designed for stages, studios, and installations that need precise beam control, accurate color, and a clean, consistent field. Using a single, high powered 60 Watt homogenized RGBW LED at its core, the impression FR1 features color mixing across a vast spectrum, whilst at the same time can project a crisp, punchy white light, with a full range of color temperature control.

Optical performance for beams and tight washes

Optical quality is at the forefront with the impression FR1 as it provides a clean, homogenized output at all angles, always giving a clean beam from center to its extreme edge. This consistency is especially useful when matching multiple fixtures, keeping gobo-like beam shapes even, or building smooth looks on camera.

A super-fast 3.5 to 34 degree zoom range gives full beam control over both short and longer throw distances and because of its power, the FR1 can project over a long throw. At the narrow end, it produces focused octagon beams for punchy aerial looks; opened up, it delivers a flat field wash for broader coverage.

Color tools and camera-friendly output

For white light workflows, the fixture provides 2,500 K to 10,000 K color temperature control, plus a virtual color wheel to match referenced LEE colors. For broadcast, streaming, and flicker-sensitive environments, it supports flicker free operation with flexible PWM, along with smooth electronic dimming from 0 to 100% and selectable dimming curves.

Fast movement and reliable control

Designed for dynamic programming, the impression FR1 includes 360 degree continuous pan rotation and 220 degree tilt with 16-bit resolution and position feedback for accurate repeatability. Control is via DMX (5-pin), with a back-lit, high contrast graphic LCD menu for straightforward setup. Built-in effects include variable electronic strobe (1 to 10 Hz), plus pulse and random modes, and over-temperature protection helps safeguard operation during long runs.
