The Elation SEVEN Batten 42 is a seven color, 3.5 foot (1m) long batten wash luminaire built around (36) 25W 7-in-1 RGBAW + Lime + UV (395nm) LEDs for smooth, even coverage across stages, sets, and architectural applications. With individual hue, saturation, and intensity control, it is easy to dial in precise looks, from saturated color to nuanced whites, plus creative UV effects for camera and live environments.

Color control and pixel-mapped effects

The fixture supports a special RGB SEVEN 3 channel mode (RGB + dynamic white, amber, lime, and UV), giving you fast, efficient control when channel count matters, while still keeping the expanded color tools that make the SEVEN engine versatile. For dynamic chases and media-style looks, the SEVEN Batten 42 offers 6 pixel mapping zones with pixel flip mode, along with smooth color mixing, 12 internal programs with speed and fade control, and 64 unique 7-color macros for quick programming and consistent repeatability from show to show.

Broadcast-ready performance and networking

Selectable 16-bit dimming curve modes help match fades to your preference, and the adjustable LED refresh rate and gamma brightness are designed for flicker free operation for TV and FILM. For modern lighting networks and integration, it supports DMX, Art-Net, Kling-Net, and RDM (Remote Device Management) protocol, and includes 3/5pin DMX and RJ45 etherCON connectivity for flexible system design.

Rigging, durability, and physical specifications

Dual 220° manual tilt adjustable mounting brackets make it straightforward to position as an up-light, side-light, cyc wash, or for linear scenic accents. The rugged powder coated die-cast aluminum exterior is built for touring and install environments, and the integrated gel / frost filter slot helps you tailor diffusion to the space and camera. The SEVEN Batten 42 measures 42.0” (1066.8mm) long x 4.5” (114.3mm) wide x 9.0” (228.6mm) vertical height, and weighs 39.0 lbs. (17.7kg). A multi-voltage universal auto switching power supply (100-240v) supports common power standards, with power in/out connections for cleaner cable runs.
