Rogue R2X Spot uses a powerful 300 W LED light source in a 16.5° beam angle for a brilliant light that creates an unparalleled audience experience.
Designed for punchy spot looks and dynamic effects
Built for live production, touring, and installed entertainment lighting, the Chauvet Professional Rogue R2X Spot delivers tight, high-impact beams and fast, repeatable movement (up to 540° pan and 250° tilt, with selectable range limits). The 300 W cool-white LED engine is rated at 7,836 K with a 50,000-hour life expectancy, and provides up to 23,000 source lumens (11,000 output lumens) with measured illuminance of 9,187 lux at 5 m.
Color, gobo morphing, and beam shaping tools
Two independent color wheels (each with 7 colors plus white) support split-color looks and continuous scrolling at variable speeds, making it easy to create sweeps, chases, and layered color effects. Two gobo wheels expand texture options: one fixed slot scrolling wheel and one rotating, interchangeable, scrolling wheel with indexing and continuous scroll. Perfect gobo morphing between gobo wheels adds smooth transitions between patterns for more cinematic movement and evolving looks.
For additional control, Rogue R2X Spot includes a motorized focus system plus an iris, a motorized frost, and a motorized rotating 3-facet prism. Electronic shutter and dimmer control support clean fades (16-bit dimming) and strobing from 0 to 22 Hz, with Move-in-Black for cleaner transitions.
Control, camera-friendly operation, and connectivity
Rogue R2X Spot supports both simple and complex DMX channel profiles for programming flexibility, and is RDM enabled for remote addressing and troubleshooting. Selectable PWM options (600 Hz, 1,200 Hz, 6,000 Hz, 15,000 Hz) help maintain flicker-free performance on camera, and selectable LED maximum output can be used to match legacy Rogue R2 Spot fixtures in mixed rigs.
Power and data connections are designed for professional workflows, with Neutrik powerCON power input/output for linking, plus 3-pin and 5-pin DMX input/output for easier integration into existing systems.
