The F-5A is a compact and light-weight field production monitor with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, nice viewing angle and max luminance of 500nit. Equipped with a new image processing engine, F-5A reproduces even better sharpness and peaking boost capability for focus pullers. It also supports various video formats via 3G-SDI and HDMI 1.3 interface. And also support professional features such as Waveform/Vectorscope, Focus Assist, 3D LUT import, Camera Logs and HDR emulation.

On-Set Monitoring for SDI and HDMI Workflows

Built around a durable cast-aluminum body, the F-5A is sized for rigs, gimbals, and lightweight camera builds where accurate focus and exposure tools matter. With 3G HD-SDI In/Out plus HDMI In/Out, it can slot into common production signal chains, while HDMI to SDI cross-converted output helps bridge cameras and downstream SDI devices without adding a separate converter.

Focus, Exposure, and Image Evaluation Tools

For faster focus pulls and more confident framing, the monitor provides Sharpness adjustment with Peaking Boost and Focus Assist, along with H/V Flip (Auto Flip) for flexible mounting orientations. Exposure and signal evaluation tools include Y-level Check and Waveform/Vector Scope, making it easier to verify luma and color at a glance during setup and shooting.

LUT, Log, and HDR Preview Support

The F-5A supports 3D LUT import and Camera LUT support, plus Camera Logs and HDR emulation, so you can preview a more finished look on set while still recording in log or other acquisition formats. This is especially useful when matching cameras, monitoring creative intent, or providing a clearer image to clients and crew.
