NEW Mega-Lite MW1

The NEW Mega-Lite MW1 is a compact moving head wash and beam fixture built around seven 40W RGBW OSRAM LEDs with individual control for straightforward pixel-style effects. With a 9º beam angle for defined shafts of light and a 44º wash angle for a soft-edge field, the MW1 adapts quickly from tight aerial looks to wide stage coverage via its mechanical zoom.

Powerful stepper motors support both fast and slow movements, with 540º pan and 270º tilt (8/16-bit) for smooth positioning and repeatable cues. For programming flexibility, the MW1 offers DMX connectivity via both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR, making it easy to integrate into common lighting control setups. An LCD display provides on-fixture access to settings for efficient deployment in rentals, installs, and touring rigs.

Output, color, and effects control

RGBW color mixing enables saturated colors as well as cleaner whites, while per-LED control across all seven emitters helps you create chases, segmented color looks, and multi-point effects without needing multiple fixtures. The electronic shutter delivers strobing up to 18 flashes per second for accent hits and rhythmic looks.

Rigging and power for real-world setups

The MW1 uses a Power Con type power connector and an auto-switching power supply (100V to 240V, 50/60Hz), with a power consumption of 375W (3.24A). Dual quick-release bi-directional clamp mounts support faster hangs and consistent orientation. For thermal planning, the maximum ambient temperature is 110ºF and the maximum surface temperature is 140ºF.
