The MA Lighting grandMA3 full-size console is the flagship of the range, built for professional lighting programmers and operators who want hands-on control and a no-compromise workflow for live events, touring, broadcast, and large venue installations.

Hands-On Playback and Programming Control

The assignable level wheel section and a dedicated master playback group provide fingertip access to powerful functionality during programming and show playback. With 120 physical playbacks and 16 assignable x-keys, the grandMA3 full-size console is designed for fast, confident operation when cues, effects, and overrides need to be executed precisely.

System Parameters and Scalable Performance

The grandMA3 full-size console includes 12,288 control parameters as standard, making it a strong base platform for complex rigs and multi-universe shows. For larger systems, the session can scale to 250,000 parameters when used in connection with additional grandMA3 processing units.

Displays, Feedback, and Ergonomics

Extensive multi-touch screen real estate provides immediate access to programming tools and can be configured to suit individual workflows. The console includes three internal foldable monitor multi-touch screens, three internal letterbox multi-touch screens, and two internal multi-touch command screens. The letterbox screens are context sensitive and dedicated to providing feedback and options for the grandMA3 playback and encoder hardware.

Hardware ergonomics are optimized for long sessions, and the console can be considered a silent version by default, with individually backlit and dimmable silent (clickless) keys. An integrated keyboard drawer helps keep the programming surface clean, and the built-in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) helps protect against unexpected power loss.

Connectivity and DMX I/O

For direct control and integration into modern networks, the grandMA3 full-size provides 6 DMX outputs and 1 DMX input, along with 3 etherCON connectors and 6 USB connectors. Two external multi-touch screens can be connected to expand workspace for programming and monitoring.

Compatible Systems

The grandMA3 full-size is compatible with grandMA2 and grandMA3 software, supporting environments where legacy showfiles, established workflows, or mixed-console ecosystems are part of day-to-day operation.
