The NEW MA Lighting grandMA3 Compact is a professional lighting control console built for touring, venues, and tech-desk workflows where you want the full power of the grandMA3 system in a smaller footprint. Designed to be easy to transport, it is a strong fit for owner/operators and productions that need a capable primary console or a compact control surface for day-to-day programming and playback.

Compact GrandMA3 Control, Built for Real Shows

The grandMA3 compact console is the smaller of the two compact models, offering the full system benefits of the grandMA3 system, housed in a compact and lightweight format. Easy to transport, the compact models are ideal for owner/operators and also the console of choice for tech-desk duties.

The compact console features a huge multi-touch monitor, 5 dual encoders and a complete command section almost identical to the larger models. In addition to the internal foldable multi-touch screen, one external multi-touch screen can be connected for expanded programming space.

Playback-Forward Surface for Fast Access

With 40 physical playbacks, 16 assignable x-keys, and a dedicated master playback section, the grandMA3 Compact is set up for busking, cue playback, and quick on-the-fly adjustments. It includes 10 backlit motorized 60 mm faders and two backlit motorized A/B faders (100 mm) for hands-on control that stays consistent even as pages, executors, and playbacks change.

Parameters, Networking, and Expandability

The grandMA3 compact console includes 4,096 control parameters as standard (HTP/LTP), making it an ideal choice for small and medium sized professional entertainment lighting applications. For larger rigs, the session can scale to real-time control for up to 250,000 parameters in connection with grandMA3 processing units.

Connectivity supports typical show control requirements with 6 DMX outputs, 1 DMX input, and 3 etherCON connectors, along with 5 USB connectors for accessories and workflow needs.

Software Compatibility

The grandMA3 compact is compatible with grandMA2 and grandMA3 software, supporting facilities and touring packages that need continuity across generations of the MA platform.
