NEW Elation MagmaFan 1

MagmaFan 1 is a compact all-purpose stage fan designed for effects, atmosphere control, and general airflow on stage or on set. It features multiple control options, linear output control, low power consumption, adjustable blowing directions, and a durable metal housing.

Low power consumption is only 80W, allowing you to put on the same circuit as your fog machine. The adjustable mounting/floor bracket included enables you to adjust the fan output 90 degrees, making it easy to aim airflow where you need it, whether it is pushing haze evenly across a room or creating a directed wind effect for performers and props. Its durable aluminum housing design allows easy carry and storage.

Control Options for Live and Installed Setups

Use the onboard LCD touch screen control panel for quick changes, or integrate the fan into a lighting and effects network via DMX-512 with RDM support. DMX modes include 3 options with 1, 2, or 4 channels, and RDM enables remote fan speed adjustment from 0 to 100 percent. For hands-on operation without a console, MagmaFan 1 also supports manual speed adjustment, stand alone operation, and on-board timing control. A 4-pin wired remote input is provided for wired control workflows.

Performance and Output

MagmaFan 1 delivers strong airflow in a compact footprint, up to 17 m3/min (600 CFM) in the US model and 15 m3/min (530 CFM) in the EU model. Fan speed range is 750 to 2800 rpm (US) and 750 to 2550 rpm (EU), with linear speed control for smooth, predictable changes that suit haze distribution and wind cues.

Tour-Ready Connections and Build

Designed for production environments, the fan includes a touch screen display, locking 5-pin XLR connector in/out for DMX, and an IP65 locking power connector in. The unit supports wired digital communication networking and offers a wide fan angle range of 0 to 360 degrees for flexible positioning.
