The feature-packed NEW Martin MAC Encore Wash WRM, SIP soft edge moving head delivers unparalleled 3000 K warm tungsten emulation, giving you the look and behavior of an incandescent source with the efficiency and control of an LED fixture. It truly challenges the output quality of a real incandescent light source, and doubles as a modern replacement for generic fixtures like tungsten based Fresnel fixtures, with the additional benefit of color mixing and movement.

Tungsten-Accurate Output for Stage, Broadcast, and Film

Designed around a pure white LED engine, the MAC Encore Wash WRM maintains consistent color while you work. There is no color temperature variation during zoom and dimming, and the driver is flicker-free with a frequency suitable for camera applications, helping keep on-camera results clean during slow-motion and high frame-rate work.

Color Mixing, Filters, and Built-In Beam Shaping

For fast palette building, vibrant CMY color mixing covers everything from saturated primaries to smooth pastels. Variable CTB lets you move from tungsten to daylight CCT while keeping output true to the black body curve, and a 6-slot interchangeable dichroic color wheel (plus open) adds quick, repeatable color choices. A Fresnel lens with a 1:4 zoom is precise, silent, and fast for smooth transitions from wide washes to tighter fields.

Integrated beam control tools support shaping without external accessories. The internal barndoor system includes two shutter blades and an iris. The blades can overlap for full blackout, and the entire system rotates +/- 100 degrees, with cue repeatability designed for precise focus and consistent looks. The iris is tight and precise, with adjustable dynamic effects, and the Animotion FX System provides internal dimming effect macros for 3D mid-air and projection-style effects.

Quiet Operation and Precision Movement

For noise-sensitive environments, cooling combines convection and forced air with user-selectable output versus sound level control for whisper-silent operation when needed. Movement is super precise and silent, with pan and tilt driven by 3-phase stepper motor technology and absolute position monitoring for accurate positioning and repeatable programming. Dimming and shutter are fully electronic, with multiple dimming curves and tungsten red-shift emulation for natural-looking fades.
