The XMT-500 enables full-scale DMX signal generation and real-time monitoring of incoming data, making it useful for verifying consoles, splitters, gateways, and fixture behavior. For RDM workflows, it supports locating and remotely configuring RDM-compliant fixtures across the rig, which can reduce ladder time when addressing, identifying, or checking device settings.

Network Diagnostics for Art-Net and sACN

For Ethernet-based systems, the XMT-500 supports bidirectional Art-Net and sACN data exchange across universes via a dedicated etherCON port. This makes it a practical choice for checking node output, validating network paths, and confirming that data is flowing correctly where you need it.

Precision Timing Analysis and Cable Verification

To help maintain reliable performance, the XMT-500 delivers detailed timing analysis for DMX and RDM signals, supporting troubleshooting when flicker or intermittent control issues appear. It also includes an interconnect tester to confirm correct pinouts for both XLR and RJ-45 cabling, helping you quickly verify cables and adapters before they cause problems in the field.

A full-color, sunlight-readable IPS TFT display keeps readings clear in bright environments. Power comes from an internal Li-ion battery with universal USB-C charging, supporting long days on site and easy charging from common power sources.
