NEW ADJ Jolt Bar FXIP

The ADJ Jolt Bar FXIP is a 1m (39.4 in.) IP65-rated LED strobe and pixel wash bar built for large concert and festival stages, dance events, and large-scale productions. A central strip of 112 x 5-Watt cool white SMD LEDs delivers intense white strobing, while 448 x 0.5-Watt RGB SMD LEDs on both sides add saturated color washes, pixel effects, and color strobe looks. Both LED types are divided into independently controllable zones (16 white and 32 color) for chases, segmented strobes, and other eye-candy effects.

White Strobe Power + RGB Pixel Control

The fixture’s zoned design makes it easy to program dynamic movement across the bar, from tight strobe chases to wider color sweeps. The wide 117-degree field angle helps fill large scenic elements and stage architecture, while the unit’s strobe range spans from 0.35Hz to 25Hz. For camera-friendly performance, the LED refresh rate is adjustable between 900Hz and 25kHz.

Outdoor-Ready Design with Wireless DMX Built In

Building on the success of the original Jolt Bar FX, the Jolt Bar FXIP adds upgrades aimed at faster setups and more flexible rigging for touring and events. It is IP65-rated for temporary outdoor use as well as indoor use, and includes ADJ Aria X2 wireless DMX built in (also compatible with ADJ’s WiFLY EXR wireless DMX) for wireless data distribution when cabling is impractical. Wired control is also supported via DMX and RDM.

Frost Lens Option and Seamless Multi-Unit Builds

To help adapt the look from show to show, the fixture is supplied with a frost lens assembly that attaches to the front of the unit. The frost blurs the pixel dots, providing designers another creative way to change the effect from project to project. Each fixture is also supplied with a connecting plate that allows multiple units to be joined together seamlessly, ideal when placing bars side by side to create continuous zone chase effects.

Programming Flexibility for Touring, Festivals, and Installations

The fixture offers 13 DMX modes (6, 9, 13, 16, 18, 32, 32A, 38, 43, 64, 78, 112 and 126 channels), allowing flexibility depending on the level of control required and the number of channels available. To speed up programming, it includes 25 built-in RGB LED program macros and 9 built-in white LED program macros. An intuitive OLED menu display with 4 touch buttons on the rear of the unit supports quick DMX addressing and configuration.

Rigging, Power, and Tour-Ready Construction

The Jolt Bar FXIP is supplied with a pair of versatile 180-degree variable hanging brackets, which can also be used as floor stands. It has a robust metal construction and has been carefully engineered to keep its weight to a minimum (20.5 lbs. / 9.3 kg). IP65 outdoor locking power input and output sockets and IP65 outdoor 5-pin DMX in/out are positioned on either side of the fixture for convenient setup and cleaner cable runs, with power linking support for multiple fixtures from a single outlet (max power link: 6pcs @120V; 12pcs @230V). Max power consumption is 214W @120V and 208W @230V.
