The NEW Elation Proteus Rayzor Blade S is a compact IP65-rated linear fixture that combines Linear Wash output, high-intensity Strobe Lines, and Elation’s patented SparkLED FX in a single outdoor-ready unit. Designed for flexible placement indoors or outdoors, it gives lighting designers precise control of saturated color, punchy strobe looks, and eye-catching lens effects from one fixture, even in dusty or wet environments. Protected from dust and water ingress, the Rayzor Blade S is part of Elation’s industry leading Proteus Range of outdoor luminaires.

Wash Output with Motorized Zoom

Driven by six independently controlled 60W RGBW LEDs (360W total), the Proteus Rayzor Blade S delivers 6,000+ lumens for bold stage wash, mid-air effects, or audience-facing looks. A motorized 6° to 45° zoom lets you move from intense, well-defined beams and light curtains to a wide, even wash coverage, making it adaptable for touring stages, architectural installs, festival rigs, and temporary outdoor events.

SparkLED Lens FX and Tilt Motion

The oversized front lenses create a large visual surface, enhanced by the fixture’s SparkLED system for added depth and texture. SparkLEDs are individual white LEDs placed inside the lens to create a distinctive internal illumination layer, controllable from the lighting console or via built-in FX patterns. The fixture also supports impactful tilt sweep motions with a 192° tilt angle, helping you add movement and visual energy across the length of a truss line or scenic element.

Dual High-Intensity Strobe Lines with Pixel Control

For high-impact strobe looks, the Proteus Rayzor Blade S includes two seamless strobe lines with a total of 128 cool white LED dots (64 pixels per side). Positioned along the full length of the fixture, these arrays can run integrated effects or be controlled with precise pixel mapping for chases, hits, and timecoded looks alongside the main RGBW wash and SparkLED layer.

Control, Networking, and Professional Integration

Built for modern lighting workflows, the fixture offers multiple DMX personalities (six modes, 28 to 106 channels) with 16-bit dimming, variable dimming curves, electronic strobe, and DMX-adjustable refresh rate (900 to 25,000 Hz) to help optimize performance on camera. Connectivity includes IP65 5-pin XLR DMX in/out, IP65 RJ45 Ethernet in/out (Art-Net, sACN), and RDM support. Onboard, a six-button touch panel and a full-color 180° reversible LCD menu make setup and addressing straightforward in any mounting orientation.
