NEW Elation KL Panel

The NEW Elation KL Panel is a full-color-spectrum LED soft light designed for Film and Television workflows where you need high output, precise color temperature control, full-spectrum color rendering, and even wash coverage. Optimized for tunable white lighting, it works as a flexible key or fill source for interviews, narrative sets, tabletop, and studio applications where accurate skin tones and consistent color matter.

High-Output, Full-Spectrum LED Engine

The KL PANEL incorporates a highly efficient 295W 6-in-1 RGBWLC (Red, Green, Blue, White, Lime, Cyan) LED package that produces up to 24,000 field lumens with a 100° half-peak angle. With CRI 95 and CCT adjustment from 2000 to 10000K, it supports everything from warm practical-matching looks to clean daylight, with the control needed to maintain continuity across scenes and locations.

Wide, Even Coverage for Soft Key and Fill

Designed for soft, flattering coverage, the fixture provides broad beam and field angles for smooth wash and edge-to-edge consistency. With the diffuser installed, beam angle is 101° and field angle is 159.4°; without the diffuser, beam angle is 111° and field angle is 155.4°. This makes it easy to light talent evenly at close range, fill large areas, or push light through diffusion and frames without harsh hotspots.

On-Set Friendly Mounting and Rugged Build

Compact and portable, the fixture can be mounted on a stand or suspended using any standard clamp or the included Junior pin adapter. A rugged housing with impact-resistant surrounds and base plate helps the KL Panel handle the rough handling on today’s fast-paced sets. Dimensions are 20.8 in (528mm) long, 5.5 in (140mm) wide, and 12.2 in (310mm) high, or 16.3 in (415.2mm) high with yoke. Weight is 28.6 lbs (13 kg), or 23.2 lbs (10.52 kg) without barn door, plus 1.02 lbs (0.46 kg) for the Junior Pin.

Power and Control Options for Studio or Location

It is fully self-contained without the need for an external power supply and includes internal power supply with power pass-through for cleaner cable management. For mobile setups, it can also be remotely powered through its integrated 4-pin XLR 24–36 VDC battery input (battery not included). The KL Panel can be operated through industry-standard DMX/RDM, Art-Net, or sACN protocols for easy integration into lighting networks and consoles.

Fast Local Adjustments and Wireless DMX

For quick tweaks at the fixture, settings can be adjusted manually using the included encoders and OLED display, providing instant control of Intensity, Color temperature, Green shift, and other important settings. The display and encoders are positioned on the bottom of the fixture for easier access while mounted on a stand. The integration of Elation’s E-FLY wireless system adds extended-range wireless DMX capability for cleaner setups and faster changeovers.
