NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Mini LED DMX System

The NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Mini LED DMX System is a thin-profile, lightweight LED panel built for fast, portable deployment on set, while integrating seamlessly with existing FreeStyle systems. Compatible with FreeStyle mounts, extension cables, and LED-140 & LED-150 Series controllers, it is an easy add-on for current FreeStyle owners who want familiar control with a smaller footprint and favorable cost of ownership.

Built for Lightweight Rigging and Everyday Handling

In addition to a twist-on mount for light stands and corner bumpers for 4-point hangs, the FreeStyle Air Mini includes eyelets to simplify overhead and other surface attachment. Its rigid construction prevents flex during handling and helps protect internal components when moving quickly between setups.

Stable Output, High Color Fidelity

Designed around Kino Flo’s Color Science LED technology, the FreeStyle Air Mini supports professional color workflows with TLCI >96, CRI >96, and TM-30-18 (Rf=95, Rg=103) for accurate skin tones and consistent camera matching. A proven passively cooled design helps keep color and luminosity stable while extending usable LED life over the rated life of the LEDs.

Flexible Control for DMX and Onboard Workflows

Dial in color temperature from 2500K to 9900K (with Kelvin presets) and fine-tune with Green/Magenta control. For creative and matching needs, the fixture also supports Hue angle and Saturation adjustments, Kino Flo presets and gels, RGB control, CIE xy, FX control, Camera Profiles LUTs, and selectable Color Space. Light levels do not change when selecting Kelvin settings, there is no color shift while dimming, and operation remains flicker-free and quiet for video production.

Power and System Integration

The system supports universal input 100VAC to 240VAC or 24VDC and is energy efficient (draws 1.25A at 120VAC and 6.25A at 24VDC). Dimming is available onboard and via DMX, including DMX Auto Terminate and a DMX wireless link (Lumen Radio) for streamlined setups where running cable is difficult.

Serviceable Design for Long-Term Ownership

Ease of maintenance is built in with a user serviceable design, featuring a removable upper rail and quick access pull-out LED platens that can be replaced or repaired to keep the panel working over the long haul.

Size and Weight

FreeStyle Air Mini dimensions are 21 x 2 x 13 in (53 x 5 x 33 cm) and weight is 3 lb (1 kg). Firmware is updatable from a PC via the Mini B USB data port.
