NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Max LED DMX System

The NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Max LED DMX System is a lightweight, thin-profile LED panel built for fast deployment on set, with full integration into existing FreeStyle workflows. Compatible with FreeStyle mounts, extension cables and LED-140 & LED-150 Series controllers, it is an easy add-on for current FreeStyle owners who want a portable panel that fits familiar rigging and control habits.

Designed for quick rigging and reliable handling

In addition to a twist-on mount for light stands and corner bumpers for 4-point hangs, the FreeStyle Air Max includes eyelets to simplify overhead and other surface attachment. Its rigid construction prevents any flex when handling and safeguards the integrity of its components, which is especially useful when moving quickly between setups or working with overhead rigs.

Stable output and color control for camera

Usable LED life is extended with a proven passively-cooled design that helps keep color and luminosity stable over the rated life of the LEDs. For color-critical work, it supports TLCI >96, CRI >96, and TM-30-18 (Rf=95, Rg=103), with Kelvin presets and dial-in CCT control from 2500K to 9900K. Green/Magenta adjustment, Hue angle and Saturation, Kino Flo presets and gels, RGB control, CIE xy, FX control, camera profile LUTs, and selectable color space options provide the flexibility to match other fixtures, cameras, and practicals. Light levels do not change when selecting Kelvin settings, there is no color shift while dimming, and operation remains flicker-free and quiet for video production.

Power, DMX, and firmware support

The system supports universal input 100VAC to 240VAC or 24VDC, and is energy efficient, drawing 1.25A at 120VAC and 6.25A at 24VDC. Dimming is available both onboard and via DMX, including DMX wireless link (Lumen Radio®) and DMX Auto Terminate. Firmware is updatable from a PC using the Mini B USB data port, which helps keep the fixture current with evolving control needs.

User-serviceable construction

Ease of maintenance is built into a user serviceable design. It features a removable upper rail and quick access to pull-out LED platens that are easily replaced or repaired, supporting long-term ownership in rental, studio, or frequent-travel use.

FreeStyle Air Max dimensions are 39.5 x 2 x 22 inches (100 x 5 x 56cm), and it weighs 7.5 lb (3kg), balancing coverage with a compact profile for grip trucks, small crews, and location work.
