The NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Max LED DMX Kit is a lightweight, thin-profile LED panel built for fast deployment on set, while integrating seamlessly into existing FreeStyle workflows. Compatible with FreeStyle mounts, extension cables and LED-140 & LED-150 Series controllers, the FreeStyle Air Max offers familiar operation and favorable cost of ownership for current FreeStyle owners and operators.

Built for Mobile Rigs and Overhead Mounting

In addition to a twist-on mount for light stands and corner bumpers for 4-point hangs, the FreeStyle Air Max includes eyelets to simplify overhead and other surface attachment. Its rigid construction helps prevent flex during handling and protects the integrity of internal components when the light is moved frequently between locations.

Reliable Output and Color Stability

Usable LED life is extended with a proven passively-cooled design, helping color and luminosity remain stable over the rated life of the LEDs. For color-critical work, it delivers TLCI >96, CRI >96, and TM-30-18 Rf=95, Rg=103, supporting accurate skin tones and consistent reproduction across cameras.

Precision Control, DMX, and Wireless Options

Dial in color temperature from 2500K to 9900K with Kelvin presets, plus Green/Magenta control for fine-tuning camera balance and matching ambient sources. Advanced tools include Hue angle and Saturation adjustments, Kino Flo presets and gels, RGB control, CIE xy, FX control, camera profiles LUTs, and selectable color space options. Light levels do not change when selecting Kelvin settings, and the fixture maintains flicker-free performance with no color shift while dimming. Control is available through full-range onboard dimming and DMX, including a wireless DMX link (Lumen Radio®) and DMX Auto Terminate.

Power Flexibility and Set-Ready Efficiency

The system supports universal input 100VAC to 240VAC or 24VDC, is energy efficient (draws 1.25A at 120VAC and 6.25A at 24VDC), and is designed for quiet operation in sound-sensitive environments.

Serviceable Design for Long-Term Use

Ease of maintenance is built into a user serviceable design. It features a removable upper rail and quick access to pull-out LED platens that are easily replaced or repaired, helping keep downtime low for rental, studio, and owner-operator use.
