The Centipede B8 sets itself apart with its flexible 360° continuous TILT movement, allowing for precise adjustments and aiming of each lighting head in any direction. For applications that call for more traditional movement behavior, it also supports a 240° tilt mode, with both 8-bit and 16-bit control available for either fast cues or smoother, more refined positioning.

Selectable preset home position macros by DMX function channel help speed up programming, while selectable fast and precise movement speed options let you tailor the fixture’s response to the show, from snappy hits to slower, deliberate sweeps. Scan position memory with automatic tilt position correction helps maintain consistent looks over time, especially in repeatable touring or installed setups.

Color, Dimming, and Pixel Control

RGBW color mixing with 16-bit control supports smoother fades and more accurate color transitions, and linear dimming from 0–100% provides clean intensity changes suitable for professional cues. A linear CTO range of 2500–8000K allows you to warm or cool output to better match cameras, venue ambient light, or other fixtures in your rig.

For detailed effects work, the Centipede B8 includes pixel mapping capability with individual pixel control on each LED, plus dynamic RGB color macros for the outer ring, enabling chase patterns, pulsing looks, and graphic-style movement that can be timed to music or video content.

With advanced effects including strobe, color mixing, and chase effects, the Centipede B8 puts creative control at your fingertips. The high-speed electronic shutter supports 0–25 Hz variable strobe, plus preset pulse and random strobe effects with adjustable speed for everything from subtle shimmer to aggressive hits.

Control is accessible via DMX function channel, and the fixture supports DMX, Art-Net, RDM, and sACN for flexible integration into modern lighting networks, whether you are running a straightforward DMX line or a scalable Ethernet-based system. Multiple personalities (22/59/85 channels) let you choose between simpler operation and deeper, more granular control.
