The Netron EN12i is a powerful, high-density Art-Net and sACN to DMX gateway designed for permanent installations that need a large number of physical DMX ports in a compact rackmount format. It provides twelve RDM-compatible outputs using wire terminals or RJ45, with integrated presets plus advanced merge and routing features to help you build reliable, repeatable signal paths across multiple universes.

High-Density DMX Output for Permanent Installs

With twelve DMX outputs and a powder-coated aluminum rackmount housing, the EN12i is built for venues and systems where clean, back-facing cabling and long-term serviceability matter. It supports both Art-Net and sACN, making it a flexible choice for mixed networks and multi-console workflows.

Flexible Wiring and Front-Access Convenience

The innovative wiring configuration allows the NETRON EN12i to be configured with RJ45, screw-terminals or IDC (Insulation displacement connectors). All options are included through exchangeable backplates.

Additionally, the EN12i provides two convenient front access ports to the internal gigabit switch and a single 5pin DMX output. This makes it easier to patch, test, or service a rack without disturbing permanent wiring.

Presets, Merging, and Cue Recall

Easy to configure with a range of integrated presets plus a wide array of advanced merge and routing features, the EN12i can be tailored for everything from simple plug-and-play setups to complex routing and merging scenarios. It includes factory and user presets, plus 99 internal cues with fade and delay times for controlled transitions.

For local control, the EN12i features a 1.8-inch OLED display with a rotary knob. For remote access, configuration is available via the internal webpage. Analog contact closures or an optional remote button station allow recall of presets, routings, mergers, or any of the internal cues, which is useful for architectural and install environments where operators need simple, repeatable control.

Power Options and System Integration

The EN12i can be powered by line voltage or PoE. It also unlocks the ONYX NOVA 4 Universe License and supports NETRON CLU for remote configuration and firmware updates, helping keep distributed installations consistent across multiple devices.
