NEW Obsidian Netron EP4 XLR sACN Art-Net Node

The Netron EP4 is a compact Ethernet to DMX gateway with four RDM compatible ports. It is configurable via its internal web remote and powered over Ethernet or via the USB-C connection.

As a four Universe Node the EP4 is ideally suited for the powerful ONYX NOVA Edition.

Network-to-DMX Control (Art-Net & sACN)

Built for modern lighting networks, the EP4 supports Art-Net and sACN for routing up to four DMX universes over Ethernet. Each of the (4) 5-pin DMX/RDM ports is optically isolated to help protect your rig from electrical issues commonly encountered in installed and touring environments.

RDM and Flexible I/O

With RDM support and bidirectional ports, the EP4 can be set for DMX input or output as needed, making it a practical choice for distributed DMX networks, stage boxes, architectural installs, and console-to-rig workflows where return data and flexible routing matter.

Power, Presets, and Remote Setup

Power the unit via PoE (802.3af) or USB-C (5V, 2A) for easy deployment in racks, truss, or wall-mounted locations. Factory and user presets support fast, repeatable plug and play setups, while remote configuration is handled through the internal webpage. The EP4 also provides 99 internal cues with fade and delay time for standalone playback needs.

ONYX Integration and Management Tools

In compatible ONYX workflows, the EP4 unlocks the ONYX NOVA 4-Universe License. For multi-device environments, NETRON CLU supports remote configuration and firmware updates.
