Designed for stages, studios, and touring rigs, it produces velvety-smooth washes that stay refined for key light, fill, and wide-area coverage.

Harnessing the immense strength of the engine through its 200mm front lens, the FORTE PC’s wide-ranging 10:1 zoom (5.5° to 62°) helps you move from tight, punchy looks to broad coverage without changing fixtures. All of this comes in a class-leading sub 40 kg frame (38.5 kg), making it easier to deploy where output and manageable rigging weight both matter.

Output and LED Engine Performance

Ensuring high output big statement washes, the TE 1.000W XP (Xtra Performance) White 6.700 K LED TRANSFERABLE ENGINE generates a blistering 90.200 lumens. With the FORTE Fresnel outputting over 41.000 lumens (integrating sphere) from the front of the fixture, you get strong on-stage presence with consistent beam quality. For planning and focusing, illuminance is specified at 75.565 lx at 5 m.

Color Control for Theatre, Broadcast, and Live Events

Maintaining Robe’s reputation for exceptional colour mixing, the CMY system provides beautifully smooth colour transitions from the subtlest pastels to the brashest saturates. Combined with two colour wheels (each with 5 fixed dichroic colours plus white), remotely selectable CRI 80 and CRI 90 filters (base CRI 70), plus a variable CTO from 3.000 to 6.700 K, you can match camera looks, blend with existing rigs, or intentionally shift warmth and tone for scene changes. A dedicated ChromaTint plus and minus green correction channel simplifies picture control.

Beam Shaping and Wash Refinement

The FORTE PC has unsurpassed levels of beam control within its class leading sub 40 Kg frame, including medium and light frosts; MagFrost (magnetic paddle fast-change system) provides exchangeable frosts containing as standard light 5° and medium 10° frost filters. RotaScrim adds graduated filter position control for asymmetrical style lighting of drapes and hotspot reduction, with the entire module rotatable +/- 180°, plus edge colour correction for cleaner field uniformity.

For more precise shaping than a typical wash fixture, the rapid 4Door internal barndoor system enables accurate individual leaf control and +/- 90° module rotation, helping keep spill off scenery, masking sightlines, and tightening coverage when the design calls for it.

Dimming, Strobe, and Motion Stability

High resolution electronic dimming runs 0 to 100%, with L3 (Low Light Linearity) imperceptible 18-bit dimming for ultra smooth fade to black. Electronic strobe effects are variable up to 20 Hz, with pre-programmed random strobe and pulse effects for live moments that need impact without external effects units.

EMS (Electronic Motion Stabiliser) technology for instant stop and hysteresis elimination removes unwanted fixture tremble usually associated with larger fixtures.

Quiet Operation and Reduced Maintenance

FORTE PC comfortably operates within any noise-sensitive environment, as it features specialised noise-dampening engineering and an array of fan control options. AirLOC (Less Optical Cleaning) technology greatly reduces the level of airborne particles drawn over the optical elements, improving light quality and increasing time between routine cleaning and maintenance.

Control, Networking, and Camera-Ready Operation

For film and television work, Cpulse flicker-free software is ideally suited for the latest camera systems, removing any on-screen flicker and supporting HD and UHD workflows (ready for 8K and 16K). For theatrical subtlety, Tungsten Emulation (lamp size-specific) helps integrate the fixture into traditional lighting rigs.

FORTE PC has a comprehensive protocol suite: USITT DMX 512, RDM, ArtNet, MA Net, MA Net 2, and sACN. REAP (Robe Ethernet Access Portal) enables direct communication over Ethernet networks, with Epass for maintained network connectivity. CRMX Wireless DMX control is available on request, supporting flexible integration into modern control networks.
