NEW ROBE ROBIN TetraX

Developed from the immensely successful Tetra1, the Robe ROBIN TetraX is a 9-pixel LED beam/wash moving head designed for bold aerial looks, sweeping pixel effects, and smooth stage washes. It adds dynamic pan movement with extremely high-speed continuous rotation, dramatically increasing sweeping effect possibilities of the fixture.

Beam, Wash, and Pixel Looks in One Fixture

Generating an ultra-tight 4° beam from each of the 9 evenly spaced pixels, they combine to produce a bright, defined “sheet” of light, as desired by Lighting Designers. The homogenised beams and smooth 11:1 motorised zoom provide ultra-smooth washes out to 45°, making TetraX equally at home as an effects beam fixture, a wide zoom wash, or a pixel-mapped eye-candy element.

Signature MCFE Aerial Effects

TetraX sets itself apart by including three exclusive eye-catching Robe patented MCFE (Multi-Coloured Flower Effect) effects, emitting sharp, multi-coloured spikes of light. Variable speed and rotation direction control helps you tailor the look to music cues and camera moves, adding charismatic in-air animations without relying on external media servers.

Color, Whites, and Dimming Control

All-inclusive colour and dimming control are available via RGBW and CMY colour mixing modes, with individual control of each RGBW pixel for chases, waves, and pulses. A variable CCT of 2.700K to 8.000K supports everything from warm tungsten-style looks to crisp, cool whites. Tungsten emulation simulates the red shift and thermal delay of tungsten lamps for whites from 2.700K to 4.200K, and the DataSwatch library provides 237 pre-programmed colours and tones, including common white points (2.700K, 3.200K, 4.200K, 5.600K and 8.000K). For refined fades on stage and on camera, high resolution electronic dimming runs 0 to 100%, with L3 (Low Light Linearity) imperceptible 18-bit dimming for ultra-smooth fade to black.

Effects Engine and Strobe Performance

Pre-programmed pixel effects include colour, dimming and strobe chases, plus waves and pulses at variable speed and direction. You also get pre-programmed random strobe and pulse effects, and an electronic strobe with variable speed up to 20 Hz for punchy accents and rhythmic hits.

Networking and Control Protocols

An Epass Ethernet switch ensures sustained network connectivity, and support for sACN, Art-Net, and Kling-Net enables quick network installation and control from media servers, DMX, or the internal effects engine. This makes the ROBIN TetraX a practical fit for modern hybrid rigs where pixel effects, console programming, and network distribution all need to coexist reliably.
