The RTS RM-325 is a programmable, microprocessor-controlled, rack-mounted intercom station for use with RTS two-wire intercom systems. Designed for reliable, full-duplex communication, it supports two independent intercom channels and provides flexible headset and microphone connectivity for broadcast, live production, and installed intercom workflows.
Two-Channel, Full-Duplex Communication
The RM-325 is a two-channel intercom station with connections for the intercom system, program input, headset/earset microphone, or separate carbon microphone. When used with a stereo or mono headset/earset, the RM-325 allows full duplex two-channel voice communications. A built-in call function lets you send or receive signals to other devices on either intercom channel, making it easier to coordinate cues and confirm line status during fast-paced productions.
Programmable Controls for Real-World Intercom Workflows
Microprocessor-controlled features include send and receive talk off signaling, plus selectable options to match your preferred operating style, such as dual channel listen, stereo/mono operation, routing program input to the right or left headphone, and enabling or disabling Talk Off and Talk on one or both channels.
Power and I/O Flexibility
Power for the RM-325 can be obtained from intercom channel one, channel two, or via local power. It can also be powered externally via the intercom system power supply on channel one or via the auxiliary inputs connector, helping it integrate into racks where local power or channel power is preferred. For additional interfacing, the unit provides an unswitched mic output at line level via the auxiliary inputs connector, plus remote mic switching via either the carbon mic connector or the auxiliary inputs connector. A headset/earset jack is provided for intercom operation.
