The Martin Atomic 3000 LED is a hybrid strobe that combines the familiar look and punch of a traditional Atomic reflector with modern LED efficiency. Based on the original Atomic 3000 DMX’s 15 years of success, this version is designed to deliver the same functionality and behavior, with substantially lower peak power consumption for easier power planning on rigs and temporary installs.
Strobe and Creative Backlight Effects
Beyond classic strobe output, the Atomic 3000 LED adds an Aura backlight system with RGB-controlled LEDs aimed into the reflector. This makes it useful for eye-candy and camera looks, from subtle glow to saturated color accents, without changing the iconic “letterbox” visual style.
Control Options and System Integration
Setup is straightforward via the 4-button menu and LCD display, and the fixture supports both LED and Xenon modes (selectable via menu and DMX control channel). For installations and touring systems, it offers a 4-channel DMX mode that matches the Atomic 3000 (for easier replacement in existing show files), plus a 14-channel Extended DMX mode with Aura control and internal FX macros. RDM compatibility supports remote addressing and status reporting in supported lighting networks, and the USB port allows software updates.
