NEW GLP JDC Burst 1 IP

The GLP JDC Burst 1 IP is a powerful, tour-ready strobe and wash fixture that expands on the proven JDC1 and draws on the technology of the JDC2, delivering higher brightness, broader color variety, and flexible control for stages, festivals, and permanent installs. Built with a robust housing and IP65 protection, it is designed to keep performing in demanding indoor or outdoor environments.

Strobe punch plus pixel-mapped RGBW color

The JDC Burst 1 combines a segment-controlled white strobe line with two RGBW LED plates for layered looks, from intense strobe hits to saturated washes and detailed pixel effects. With precise control of 20 x 240 RGBW pixels arranged into 12 x 4 segments (5 x 5 pixels each), you can create chases, sweeps, and graphic-style effects that read clearly on camera and from long throw distances.

The extremely bright white strobe LEDs deliver three times the brightness compared to the proven JDC1, providing intense flashes with strong visual impact. The RGBW plates extend the available palette to include delicate pastels and rich, saturated color, with improved output over the JDC1 (+120% red, +60% green, +30% blue).

Motorized tilt and practical performance control

A motorized 185° tilt adds movement to effects and helps aim the fixture precisely in truss, floor, or vertical mounting configurations. Smooth fades and repeatable cues are supported with 0 to 100% dimming (16-bit), high-resolution channels for dimming and tilt, and selectable performance modes (fast, normal (balanced), smooth). Linear and soft dimming curves make it easier to match the feel of other fixtures in your rig.

IP65 sealed design for low-maintenance use

Thanks to its sealed IP65 system, the JDC Burst 1 is protected not only against weather influences but also against pyro and confetti residues. While conventional devices can draw in particles through ventilation and require maintenance, the Burst 1 remains largely maintenance-free and reliably durable due to its sealed housing.

Easy integration: DMX, network protocols, and iQ.Mesh

The multi-patch function and flexible control options via DMX, ArtNet, sACN, and GLP iQ.Mesh support fast integration into a wide range of control workflows, from simple DMX rigs to networked systems. It supports DMX (USITT DMX512-A) and RDM (ANSI/ESTA E1.20), with addressing via a control panel with backlit graphic display and 4-button navigation, plus DMX, RDM, and iQ.Mesh options. DMX channel modes include 19, 37, 227, and 245, offering streamlined setups or detailed pixel control as needed.

Connectivity, power, and mounting for production work

Signal connections include XLR 5-pin in/out and Gigabit etherCON in/out (failsafe). Power is provided via Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 in/out with an auto-ranging switch-mode power supply (100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz). At 14 kg (30.8 lbs) with ergonomic carrying handles, it is designed for easy handling on site, and mounting options include Camlock quick-release fasteners on the arm for vertical mounting.

Output is rated at 42,000 lm (plate) and 63,000 lm (beam), with 60 x 20 pixel light sources and 2 x 700 W LED power. Fan modes include regulated, high, medium, and low. Additional features include a Stand Alone captured scene and a Beam Pattern Effect Engine.
