NEW Martin VDO Atomic Dot WRM

The Martin VDO Atomic Dot WRM is a compact, IP65-rated hybrid lighting and video fixture that combines a small blinder, compact strobe, video-pixel capabilities, and a small spotlight in one unit. Designed for concert/touring, TV sets, corporate events, and nightclub installs, it delivers a warm white (2700K) punch while adding a pixel-controllable RGB Aura backlight for layered looks on camera and in the room.

Hybrid output for blinder impact and pixel backlight looks

At the center is a warm white beam/blind/strobe engine that can run at 2850 lumens boost/strobe or 1400 lumens continuous, making it suitable for eye-candy accents, audience hits, and rhythmic strobe effects. The tight 11 degree beam angle (22 degree field angle) helps keep output focused for punchy visual cues, while the integrated RGB Aura backlight adds video-controlled color for depth, silhouettes, and pixel-style design elements.

Flexible control, simplified networking, and pixel mapping

Integrated support for P3, DMX, Art-Net and sACN reduces the need for additional interface boxes, and onboard P3 streamlines pixel mapping and using the fixture as a video controlled blinder or strobe. Power and data are handled through the PDE System, with Power and Data IN and THRU via hybrid cable (PDE System) for fast, repeatable setup in rentals and touring.

Rigging and modular array building

The integrated VDO Grid Mount System allows multiple VDO Atomic Dots to be combined in battens, arrays, or creative shapes. Standardized fixture spacing supports clean, scalable builds, including 150 mm (5.9 in.) center-to-center spacing horizontally and vertically using interlock couplers. The fixture is also compatible with Martin VDO Atomic Bold and MAC One interlocking mechanics for mixed arrays.

Tour-ready design details

VDO Atomic Dots feature passive cooling, a built-in power supply (100-240V), and a detachable yoke-assembly to adapt to different mounting positions. A front-accessory holder supports barndoors and/or diffuser/lens for additional beam shaping where needed.
