The High End Systems Hog 4 is a professional lighting control console built for programming and running complex shows, from touring rigs to fixed installations. As the flagship in High End System's newest range of consoles, it replaces the much loved Wholehog III while retaining the Hog's familiar control surface, so experienced Hog programmers can walk up and get to work without learning a whole new interface.

Hands-On Programming Workflow

The Hog 4 is designed around fast, tactile control for busking and time-coded programming alike. New encoders, a user assignable Jog Shuttle encoder, LCD keys, and a tri axis backlit trackball support precise parameter control, while ten motorized playback faders plus a motorized Grand Master make it easy to manage playbacks and intensity on the fly. Dedicated Intensity and Rate wheels help you make quick adjustments mid-show without interrupting your workflow.

Built-In Displays and Flexible Expansion

Two internal 17-inch wide screen touchscreens with 10 point multi-touch provide a focused workspace for palettes, playbacks, and views. For larger programming setups, the console supports three external monitors or touchscreens, letting you expand your workspace for multi-operator environments or detailed show builds.

Connectivity for Single Consoles or Networked Systems

The console provides three monitor outputs, MIDI input and output ports, eight USB ports, and two Fast Ethernet ports on a rugged Neutrik Ethercon connector allowing you total flexibility. You're prepared for everything from the smallest industrial job requiring a single console to the largest stadium show, theme park installation or Broadway spectacular requiring a multi console setup with full network backups.

Networking is streamlined with a Hog-Net Ethernet connector and Fixture-Net Ethernet connector, and the built in DMX Processor 8000 supports direct control output without requiring an external processor for many rigs.

Show Storage and Built-In Convenience

Preserve show data on a solid state hard disk drive as well as with USB drives and CD/DVD-ROM's, or alternatively connect directly to a network drive to store your show files remotely. The console also includes an integrated keyboard, internal hard disk drive, internal CD/DVD drive, storage space beneath arm rest, and desklights with feedback LEDs and an integrated worklight, all dimmable. Auto-ranging mains input (90-250VAC) supports reliable operation across common venue power standards.
