The GLP Nexus Uplight is a wireless, rechargeable, battery-powered uplight built to deliver exceptional brightness and great color accuracy for events, installs, and on-the-go accent lighting. Powered by a 40 W RGBL LED, it produces beautiful, static, colorful lighting with rich illumination, making it a practical choice for everything from small rooms to large venues, while staying budget-friendly.

Wireless uplight performance for events and temporary installs

With an adjustable runtime of up to 24 hours (set via the app), the Nexus Uplight is designed for cable-free placement where power access is limited. The compact housing (9 x 9 x 18.5 cm) and lightweight build (1.6 kg) make it easy to deploy in multiples for wall washes, architectural accents, stage uplighting, and room color.

Beam control and accurate color

The variable zoom range of 13° to 66° helps you shape the look, from tighter, punchy columns of light to broader coverage for larger surfaces. The RGBL (red, green, blue, lime) engine is designed to support vibrant colors and more natural-looking tones compared to RGB-only sources, which is especially useful for event environments where consistent color matters.

Control options and connectivity

Control is available via iQ.Mesh wireless protocol or the included IR remote workflow, providing flexible operation for quick setups. Charging and power connections are handled through USB-C, and the fixture operates on 5 to 12 V with a 45 W power draw.

Battery and durability

The built-in Li-Ion 8000 mAh battery supports extended use between charges. Rated IP65, the Nexus Uplight is suited for indoor and temporary outdoor use. The LED source is rated for a 50,000-hour lifetime, supporting long-term reliability in regular production and event schedules.
