The GLP impression X4 Bar 10 is a high-performance RGBW LED batten designed for stage, broadcast, and architectural-style applications where tight pixel control, smooth color mixing, and fast positioning are essential. Its compact 20-inch form factor makes it ideal for lining truss, creating linear beams and washes, building video-like color chases, or adding low-profile accent light on set and scenery.

RGBW output with smooth mixing and accurate fades

The GLP impression X4 Bar uses high output RGBW LED's that are packed tightly to give a full batten of light, with 20 LED's used in the 40 inch long X4 Bar 20 and 10 LED's used in the shorter 20 inch X4 Bar 10. High quality optics ensure a smooth, homogenized output across the batten through a broad pallet of pastel and saturated colors. This allows for subtle graduated fades, or for distinct color breaks between LED's. This is complimented by GLP's exceptional dimming which ensures that there is no color shift, just smooth even fades.

Zoom, tilt, and effects for versatile looks

A motorized zoom system provides a 7 degree to 50 degree light distribution angle, letting you switch from tight, punchy beams to broader wash coverage without changing fixtures. The X4 Bar 10 also features 16-bit resolution motorized tilt with position feedback for reliable, repeatable focus. Tilt movement spans 210 degrees in 1.5 seconds, driven by high-precision 3-phase stepping motor control. For dynamic looks, you get continuous dimming from 0 to 100%, variable strobe (1 to 10 flashes per second), plus random strobe and pulse effects.

DMX control and pixel mapping workflow

DMX control offers full pixel mapping capabilities, allowing a whole multitude of dynamic fades and chases through intensities and colors. Using DMX-512, you can treat the bar as a unified batten or as multiple controllable pixels, making it a strong choice for media-server style effects, timecoded cues, and synchronized multi-fixture arrays.

Color tools, cooling, and on-fixture usability

Internal color presets and variable CTO control (2500K to 10000K) help match cameras, practicals, or other fixtures in a rig. A very quiet, temperature controlled ventilation system supports performance in noise-sensitive environments, and a convection cooling option is available when silent operation is preferred. For quick setup and maintenance, the fixture includes a back-lit graphic-LCD menu with battery operation, over-temperature protection, and a color calibration feature.
