The GRAY DMX Repeater (5 Pin XLR) is an opto-isolated DMX splitter designed to distribute a single DMX signal to multiple lighting devices when clean daisy-chain wiring is not practical. Use it to feed dimmers, scrollers, or other DMX-controlled devices in a star configuration while helping protect your DMX source through electrical isolation.

Why Use a DMX Repeater

DMX rules require daisy chain style wiring with no breaks, stars, tees or unterminated ends. When this is not practical, a DMXRepeater can be used to properly distribute DMX to dimmers, scrollers or other devices in a star configuration. DMX Repeater can also used to electrically isolate DMX sources from controlled devices.
