The Chauvet DJ COLORband Spectra ILS is a low-profile motorized LED strip light designed for events, stages, DJs, and installs where you want motion, pixel effects, and clean looks from a fixture that stays visually unobtrusive until showtime. It slides into event spaces like it was made to disappear, then steals the show with high-energy motion, sweeping beams, bright blinder blasts, and eye-catching pixel chases.

Mix elegant, tunable warm white or vibrant electric color with 40 mappable LEDs (RGB+WW) and a wide 3,000K to 14,000K color temperature range for everything from wedding uplighting to club-ready color. With 180° of tilt and built-in motors, the strip can be angled where you need it, letting one fixture shift between wall-wash, beam looks, and audience-facing effects without re-aiming by hand.

Motion, Pixel Mapping, and Blinder Looks

COLORband Spectra ILS functions as a pixel mapping effect, blinder, or wall-washer, with individual pixel control for animations that read clearly on camera and in the room. A 15° beam angle (26° field angle) helps keep sweeps punchy and defined, while output reaches 3,872 lux at 2 m (1,938 lumens). Strobe is adjustable from 0 to 20 Hz for sharp hits, accents, and energy builds.

Control Options for Any Rig

Multiple control options include DMX, ILS, RF, or master/slave, so it can run standalone, in simple linked setups, or as part of a larger programmed show. For DMX users, onboard 3-pin and 5-pin XLR connectors make it easy to integrate with existing cabling, with channel modes of 6, 11, 17, 19, or 164 to match your workflow, from quick operation to deep pixel mapping control. It is also D-Fi USB compatible for wireless master/slave or DMX control.

Power Linking and Practical Setup

powerCON-compatible power input/output connections support clean power linking in event environments. You can link up to 9 units at 120 V or 16 units at 230 V (100 to 240 VAC, auto-ranging). The fixture draws 86 W (1.3 A at 120 V) or 72 W (0.8 A at 230 V). It fits best in the CHS-60 VIP Gear Bag for transport.
