Astera QuikSpot is a battery-driven uplight and compact, zoomable Fresnel spotlight built for fast, precise accent lighting on sets, stages, and events. Its 13º–60º adjustable beam lets you move from a tight, punchy highlight to wide coverage without swapping fixtures, while seamless integration into the Astera ecosystem keeps control and prep consistent across your workflow.

Zoomable Fresnel control in a compact fixture

QuikSpot’s lens system is specifically designed for maximum brightness, while working as a high-quality Fresnel. Use it as a hard spotlight, flood it for wide angle coverage, use filters to shape the beam or attach the SafetyLink-ready Barndoors for precise cuts.

Battery runtime and straightforward charging

Delivering 4.5 hours of maximum runtime with OutputGain activated, QuikSpot offers the best size-to-output wireless performance in its class. Charging and prepping is also extremely easy with the battery-driven PrepBox and its ChargingPlate. For longer calls, it supports up to 20 hours of runtime (depending on output and settings), with a nominal charging time of 5 hours.

Color quality, output, and effects

Powered by the Titan LED Engine with RGBMintAmber color mixing, QuikSpot supports high-fidelity white light from 3200 to 6500 K (CRI Ra and TLCI ≥96) and a strobe range of 0 to 25 Hz. Total LED power is 60 W, with 38 W LED power draw and up to 50 W maximum power consumption.

Wireless and wired control for modern rigs

Designed for quick deployment, QuikSpot supports wired DMX, RDM (wireless and wired), infrared control, and multiple wireless protocols including CRMX, UHF, Bluetooth, and WiFi. A built-in CRMX receiver and BluetoothBridge BTB streamline pairing and integration, with wireless range up to 300 m (CRMX/UHF) and up to 3 m via Bluetooth.

Mounting flexibility and on-location durability

Whether hung or on the floor, QuikSpot is ready to rock: focus it with the removeable Yoke or angle it with the integrated Kickstand, mount a pin in the back or add a TrackPin Compact to the airline track, attach a third-party clamp or use a FlexCover (not included) to blend the fixture into the surroundings.
 

For demanding environments, QuikSpot is rated IP65 (wired and unwired) and operates from 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F). It also supports AC input from 100 to 240 VAC (50/60 Hz) via PowerCON TRUE1 IN/OUT. The fixture measures 164 mm x 164 mm x 182 mm (6.45 x 6.45 x 7.16 in) and weighs 3.5 kg (7.6 lb).
