NEW Blizzard Typhon IP Sharpshooter is a compact, IP66-rated moving head beam fixture built for extreme output and long-throw precision in outdoor productions, landmark installations, and high-energy beam looks. Its 120W LEP engine drives an ultra-tight 1.1 degree beam through a 128 mm optical system, delivering up to 220,000 lux at 10 m for crisp aerial effects and long-distance projection in large indoor or outdoor spaces.

LEP beam performance for long throws

With a 10,000 K output (CRI ≥ 70) and a 128 mm high-definition lens, Sharpshooter is designed to keep intensity and edge definition consistent across distance. The LEP engine is rated for 12,000 hours, and intelligent temperature management helps maintain stable performance during extended runs.

Color, gobo, and beam effects

Designers get fine CMY linear color mixing for smooth fades and precise tuning, plus a 12-color plus white wheel for fast, repeatable color looks. A set of 17 fixed gobos plus open supports sharp texture projection, while dual rotating prisms (8-facet and 24-facet) multiply the beam for wide, kinetic effects. Electronic focus helps keep gobos crisp over varying throw distances, and the frost filter softens the beam when a broader, more atmospheric look is needed.

Movement, dimming, and control

Smooth 0 to 100 percent dimming and a 1 to 30 Hz strobe make it easy to match cue timing in live shows. Pan and tilt movement (540 degrees pan, 270 degrees tilt) is available with 8- or 16-bit resolution for accurate positioning and repeatable programming. Setup and status are handled via the onboard LCD display, and integration is straightforward with DMX512, RDM, Art-Net, and sACN control for networked rigs.
