Claypaky Tambora Linear 60 is an advanced static LED pixel-mapping bar built for versatile lighting effects and artistic set decoration, from TV studios and fixed installs to touring rigs that need fast, repeatable pixel looks and impactful strobe hits.

Hybrid pixel background plus powerful strobe line

Tambora Linear 60 combines two complementary effects in one fixture. The background effect is driven by 240 RGB pixel LEDs, creating a look similar to a high-definition LED wall. The array can be controlled as 16 LEDs in 15 groups, letting you build clean chases, motion graphics, and mapped content directly across the bar.

For punch and accents, a central line of 120 extremely powerful white LEDs delivers an overwhelming strobe effect, capable of reproducing the behavior of the most celebrated strobe fixtures on the market. This strobe line is also controllable in 15 areas, so you can segment bursts, sweeps, and rhythmic patterns instead of relying on a single full-bar flash.

Layered control and built-in effects

All graphic content can be managed through Advanced Layers Management, an exclusive feature of Claypaky LED bars, with which you can choose to use different levels of effects simultaneously. Layers include Color, Internal Shape, Pixel Mapping, and Strobe, making it easy to combine a mapped RGB background with shaped looks and strobe accents in the same cue.

Tambora Linear 60 also features a large number of built-in effects, so it can be used in an advanced workflow or in a simpler mode when a media server is not available, or when an installation requires a speedy solution.

Modular rigging for longer pixel runs

The Tambora Linear 60 can be easily connected mechanically with multiple units and then operated as one complete fixture from the control software, streamlining programming for long scenic lines and repeated patterns. For greater compositional modularity, we also offer Tambora Linear 100 (1 m lenght).

Optics, color, and performance tools for camera and stage

Claypaky offers a wide range of easy-to-apply accessory filters. These can shape the beam with a frost effect or increase the readability of the pixels with the neutral density filter, which is particularly useful for television applications and helps manage brightness on camera.

On the RGB engine, the zoom provides 69° @50% / 113° @10%. The white strobe features a 120° beam aperture. Color workflows are supported with white CCT emulation from 2800 to 8000 K, plus high-resolution 24-bit electronic dimming with five dimmer curves and electronic strobe/stop from 0.3 to 25 f/sec.

Control, serviceability, and practical touring details

Designed with a slim body, Tambora Linear 60 is sleek and lightweight (5.3 kg) for dense set integration and efficient rigging. It includes a long-life self-charging battery for fixture management, a graphic LCD display, onboard diagnostics with DMX monitoring, and remote access through RDM. Firmware can be uploaded from another fixture or upgraded via web server for easier maintenance across a fleet.

Light output is rated at 10114 lumens (integrating sphere), with high-efficiency optics. Dimensions are 600 mm x 172 mm x 74 mm.
