NEW Avolites Diamond 7-215 Console

The Avolites Diamond 7-215 Console is a high-capacity lighting control console built on the Avolites Titan platform for programming and running complex live shows. With a compact clamshell design, dual high-brightness touchscreens, and extensive playback hardware, it is designed for fast, hands-on control in touring, broadcast, theatre, and install environments where reliability and workflow speed matter.

Hands-on programming and playback control

The control surface is laid out for tactile operation, combining motorised faders, touch-sensitive encoders, and RGB-backlit controls for clear visual feedback in dark venues. You get 15 motorised touch-sensitive faders with designer fader cap and RGB fader indicator, plus 15 ultra high resolution touch sensitive playback encoders with push function and RGB encoder indicator for precise parameter adjustments. For attribute work, it adds 5 custom RGB backlit optical attribute encoders.

Programming buttons are all RGB backlit and use short travel Cherry® MX Low Profile switches, helping maintain consistent feel during long sessions. A dedicated level wheel with on-screen level indication supports quick, repeatable intensity or parameter changes.

Dual touchscreen workspace, built for show conditions

Two 14-inch 850 nits 1920x1200 capacitive touch main screens, with adjustable brightness, are mounted on a folding panel, supporting clear visibility under bright FOH lighting. The console also supports 2 additional external DisplayPort 1920*1080 touchscreens for expanding workspaces across layouts, palettes, or monitoring views.

For practical desk operation, the console includes a full custom backlit QWERTY keyboard in a drawer (keys identical to the program panel) and an LED desk reading light positioned above the screens and over the rear panel.

Connectivity for DMX, networking, timecode, and triggers

For lighting distribution, the Diamond 7-215 provides 4 isolated DMX outputs via 5 pin XLR connectors. Networking is supported via 4 x Neutrik XLR on the primary network port and 1 x Neutrik XLR on the secondary network port, internally switched and managed.

Integration options include MIDI in, Loop & Out port in DIN 5, SMTP in/loop out, Foot trigger input, and Audio trigger Input. It also supports SMPTE RTU Timecode in and Loop out via 3 pin XLR with transformer isolation, plus GPIO with 4 inputs and 4 outputs on a 15 Pin D sub connector for show-control interfacing.

Scale and performance on Titan

Running Avolites Titan software, the console supports 16,384 DMX slots per device and 32,768 DMX slots per system, with a maximum of 32,000 fixtures, making it suitable for large rigs and multi-universe environments.

Tour-ready construction and compact transport

An all-aluminium construction helps reduce weight, while the clam shell LCD panel design reduces transport size and includes a positive locking mechanism. Screen panel articulation is adjustable in 6 degree steps from – 90 to 155 degrees from vertical, and the console features a comfortable armrest for long programming sessions. All screens are flush-mounted, and the console uses exclusively manufactured button caps, fader caps, encoder knobs, encoder wheels, and a level wheel for a consistent control feel.
