TMB 50ft Proplex 5-Pin DMX Cable, Assembled, is a professional DMX512 data cable designed for dependable lighting control runs between consoles, splitters, nodes, and intelligent fixtures. Proplex series data cables are built to survive the toughest conditions, yet handle and coil well, again and again and again. They have been exhaustively developed, tested and re-tested.
Built for Reliable DMX Data Transmission
With a 110 Ohm characteristic impedance, this cable is engineered for proper DMX data performance, helping maintain signal integrity on longer runs and in electrically noisy production environments. Dual shielding, including 100% aluminum/mylar coverage plus an 85% tinned copper braid, adds protection against interference while keeping the cable flexible enough for frequent deployment and strike.
Touring-Grade Construction
Proplex uses 23 AWG (0.34 mm2) tinned, annealed copper stranded conductors (19 x 34) with high-temperature FEP insulation rated to 200° C and 300 Volt. Pairs are cabled with a Kevlar strength member, and the black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket is built for abrasion resistance and repeated coiling. The cable’s nominal outside diameter is 0.285 in (7.24 mm), with a minimum bend radius of 1.75 in.
