This 75 ft, 5-pin DMX cable is designed for reliable lighting control data runs where consistent signal performance and on-the-job durability matter.

Built for dependable DMX data runs

With a 110 Ohm characteristic impedance, this cable is purpose-built for DMX data transmission, helping maintain signal integrity over longer runs and in electrically noisy production environments. Dual shielding, including an aluminum/mylar inner shield (100% coverage) and a tinned copper braid outer shield (85% coverage), helps reduce interference for stable control communication.

Construction details that support touring and install use

The Proplex build combines 23 AWG (0.34 mm2) tinned, annealed copper stranded conductors (19 x 34) with FEP insulation rated at 200° C and 300V. Pairs are cabled with a Kevlar strength member to support durability, and a black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket is designed to stand up to repeated handling, coiling, and demanding venues.
